Liposuction Beverly Hills plastic surgery experts say, helps thousands in Los Angeles every year remove unwanted fat deposits and enhance their appearances
Los Angeles liposuction surgeon Dr. Younai understands that healthy dieting and proper exercise do not always allow people to lose as much weight as they would like. He believes that if you are dedicated to staying healthy and maintaining your weight, then liposuction is a viable option for the initial phase of weight loss and body reshaping.
For many men and women, dieting and exercise alone do not always shrink fat deposits; for these individuals, liposuction is an effective option to remove small fatty areas like under-chin fat. Liposuction, like a tummy tuck, can also be applied to other parts of the body such as the abdomen.
Plastic Surgery Industry Bouncing Back Whether we’re referring to popular non-invasive procedures such as Botox or traditional surgical treatments like liposuction Los Angeles plastic surgeons agree that the economy largely moves with the baby boomers and the fact is, the boomers are aging, and aging is great for the cosmetic surgery industry. Cosmetic surgery covers scores of procedures, and demand for them is expected to grow 8.4 percent annually through 2012, with less invasive procedures such as Botox growing the most quickly, according to a September 2008 study.
Los Angeles Liposuction Procedures On The Definite Rise
Although many of us are in the middle of layoffs, salary freezes, and job searches, following a budget-conscious lifestyle doesn’t mean forgoing ways to improve our situation and self-image through plastic surgery technology. Many cosmetic surgeons have been offering discounts and specials to encourage patients to explore their options. According to a top liposuction surgeon Los Angeles patients have tended to be more resistant to spending money than before, and though many practices have seen business slow down, with specials and offers,nd since, the whole reason cosmetic surgery works is because people are willing to spend money to change something in their body that changes the way that they feel about themselves. For this reason, plastic surgery specialists across the country are confident that cosmetic surgery will pick up sooner than the rest of the economy. There were 12.1 million cosmetic procedures performed in 2008, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons which reflects a 9 percent decline in surgical procedures but a 5 percent increase in minimally invasive procedures. You eat well, watch your diet and work hard to look your best, but there are still those 'problem areas' that refuse to cooperate. Unfortunately, diet and exercise aren't the only factors that have a say in determining whether you will have the body you desire. Age, injuries, pregnancy, and genetics have a voice as well. Sometimes the only way to get the body you desire is to permanently remove fat deposits through minimally invasive liposculpture says Los Angeles liposuction expert. When going in for a plastic surgery procedure, your surgeon will provide very specific instructions prior to surgery so you will have an optimal and safe experience. These include- what medications to avoid to prevent excessive bleeding and bruising, required medical exams, what to eat and drink prior to surgery, and the prescription of an anti-nausea pill to take on the morning of the surgery. In all cases, you will be asked to have a reliable friend or family member take you home after the surgery, as you will not be allowed to drive. Some procedures do require overnight stay in an aftercare facility or a hospital.
Also, tend to all of your chores and to do things before your surgery so you don’t have to worry about taking care of things early during your recuperation. This means if you usually clean the house, you should do so in advance of your liposuction Beverly Hills plastic surgeons advise. Have your hair cut and colored, wax your legs, pay your bills, and take your dog to the vet before your planned day of surgery!
- If you are older than 45 years, or have heart disease or diabetes, Los Angeles plastic surgeons require a pre-operative EKG, which would either be done by your internist, cardiologist, or at our facility. Heart disease and all other medical illnesses need to be optimized, and you be cleared by an internist or specialist prior to liposuction surgery.
- Pre-operative laboratory blood and urine tests are done usually within 10 days of your surgery date. If you do have health insurance this might be covered, otherwise, the laboratory will charge you.
- If you are a smoker, live with a smoker, or use Nicotine products (patch, gum, or nasal spray) notify your Los Angeles liposuction plastic surgeon well in advance of your surgery. You are not allowed to smoke or use Nicotine products for two weeks prior to and two weeks after your surgery, because it greatly increases your risk of having complications including loss of abdominal skin after surgery.
- If you are anemic, or have a low blood count, please notify our office well in advance of surgery so that we can start you on Iron supplement. If you are anemic, you cannot have a tummy tuck, Los Angeles plastic surgeons say.
- If you have specific medical illnesses, allergies, or physical handicaps, please notify our staff during your pre-operative visit.
- Please refrain from taking any Aspirin, Aleve, Advil, Motrin or other NSAID for ten days before your surgery. These drugs can increase the incidence of bleeding and bruising.
- Do not drink or eat after midnight, the night before your surgery. This means no coffee or breakfast on the morning of your surgery. You should take all your medications with a little water. If you have to take diabetic medication or insulin, be sure to have instructions from our office on how much of it to take the morning of surgery.
- Prior to your surgery you will be given a prescription for pain medication, antibiotics, and nausea medicine. Get these filled in advance and bring them with you to surgery.
- Before leaving home for your liposuction Los Angeles surgeons recommend taking one "nausea pill"- COMPAZINE - with a little water.
You must make arrangements for a responsible adult friend or family member to take you home after surgery. You are not allowed to drive yourself home or take a taxi. After surgery, this caregiver is required to stay with you and to monitor and assist you for at least the first 24 hours after surgery. If you don’t have such a person, or live far away, or are having extensive or multiple procedures please let us know in advance so that we can help you make arrangements for a stay at an after-care facility or hospital.
While many women are conscious of the importance of proper nutrition for their daily living, they sometimes forget that this is even more important for their recover from plastic surgery. Several scientific studies have demonstrated that after undergoing a body contouring procedure like a tummy tuck Los Angeles women’s bodies lack adequate level of minerals and vitamins to properly heal after cosmetic surgery. This slows their healing and makes their recovery more uncomfortable and protracted. Intravenous Nutritional Therapy is a method of delivering vitamins, minerals, and amino acids directly into the bloodstream and is used to correct intracellular nutrient deficiencies. According to a leading San Francisco plastic surgeon, oral intake of such high doses is simply not effective due to absorption limitations from the digestive process, especially after surgery. Patients can get up to 10 times the nutrients in one treatment as they could get orally in one day. A good example of this is the use of Vitamin C when trying to overcome a cold due to a viral infection. The antiviral effects of Vitamin C are seen when blood levels are around 10-15 mg/dL. This level is achievable with I.V. therapy but not orally. Oral dosage typically peaks with blood levels around 1.2-4.0 mg/dL vs. I.V. therapy of 50-90 mg/dL.
The fee for intravenous vitamin therapy ranges a few hundred dollars, which is a minute cost for safeguarding your plastic surgery endeavor. For details of costs and fees for intravenous and oral nutritional supplement and vitamin therapy, and other questions about popular plastic surgery procedures like breast augmentation Los Angeles patients are welcomed to contact California Center for Plastic Surgery or visit www.antiaging-specialist.com/about.htm.

Liposuction is very popular among women after pregnancy. Los Angeles mothers are often frustrated with stubborn fat areas of the tummy, thighs, hips, and arms which are resistant to exercise and dieting. During their cosmetic surgery consultation new mothers often share their frustrations of not being able to fit into their pre-pregnancy clothes. Liposuction of the arms, thighs, hips, and abdomen is performed with a variety of techniques throughout Southern California. Tumescent liposuction of the abdomen is the most popular technique used in Los Angeles. For patients who need intensive liposuction Beverly Hills specialists offer ultrasound, laser, chemical injections, and vibration techniques. The efficacy of Ultrasonic Liposuction and these other techniques is widely debated and is associated with higher complication rates.
Pregnancy changes a woman’s body in many ways. There is redistribution of the body fat as a result of change in the levels of estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, as well as thyroid and gonadal hormones. These hormonal and metabolic changes make it very hard to lose excess body fat which is stored in the deep fat pockets. Therefore, at this time the only solution for restoring one’s younger size and shape is to have liposuction of abdomen, flanks, thighs, or hips.
Losing weight after pregnancy can sometimes have unpredictable results, such as losing breast volume and facial fullness which makes women look older. Selective liposuction Los Angeles plastic surgeons observe, can give a woman a balanced figure and youthful appearance while preserving fat in other areas. In fact, after pregnancy liposuction of the abdomen, hips, and thighs can also be combined with fat grafting of other areas which are deficient in fullness and volume, such as the buttocks and the face. Fat injection of the face after pregnancy fills the deep naso-labial folds, lower eyelid hollows, forehead wrinkles and frowns. Fat grafting of the buttocks, or Brazilian Buttock Augmentation, is combined with liposculpture of the flanks and hips in order to give a women an hourglass figure, as well as a “perky butt”.
While many women who have unwanted fat after pregnancy can benefit from liposuction in Beverly Hills, there are others who are not a candidate for liposuction. These are mothers who rather need a tummy tuck after pregnancy. In Los Angeles liposuction/High Tension Abdominoplasty combines a tummy tuck with liposuction of the flanks in order to remove loose hanging lower belly skin folds and stretch marks, as well as contouring the waist, and lifting the thighs and buttocks.
Dr. Sean Younai is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Beverly Hills who is originator and master of the High Tension Abdominoplasty technique. He receives patients at the California Center for Plastic Surgery from Northern as well as the Southern California region. Some of these cities are Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Santa Monica, Hollywood, Burbank, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Calabasas, Woodland Hills, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Pasadena, Glendale, Valencia, Palmdale, Stockton, Fresno, Bakersfield, and Oxnard.

According to Kim Kardashian of Keeping Up with the Kardashians “Someone in the family will soon have plastic surgery…I can’t tell you who, but someone in my family will look totally different and viewers will see it all on the show very soon.” Kim told PEOPLE exclusively at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Saturday night.
The Kardashian clan is no stranger to plastic surgery says Los Angeles liposuction surgeon. So the recent announcement that a member of the family is getting plastic surgery isn’t shocking news. In the past, Kim has refuted rumors of having been under the knife herself, but has used laser treatment for cellulite. Even if Kim hasn’t had plastic surgery, her sister Khloe is looking like she’s packing on the pounds so maybe she could be a candidate for liposuction Beverly Hills or tummy tuck. Her mother and stepfather have spent a combined fortune on facial plastic surgery says liposculpture San Diego expert.
Given the liking for plastic surgery in the Kardashian household, the only question is what’s next says San Diego liposuction surgeon. Another boob job? A facelift? Or maybe the spotlight shy brother, Robert, is finally following in his big sisters’ footsteps and having something implanted or removed. I guess we’re going to have to watch the show and find out!

But not for what you might think. You may remember Dr. Jan Adams and
the controversy surrounding the death of Kanye West’s mom Donda while
recovering from the breast reduction, liposuction and tummy tuck Los Angeles
plastic surgery he performed on her back in November of 2007. Then in
June, the “Doctor” was arrested for a DUI after he was caught driving
his Jaguar the wrong way on a California freeway. Well, he has just
been sentenced a year in jail for that DUI. At the time, his blood
alcohol level was registered at over twice the limit in California.
At sentencing, Dr. Adams’ lawyer Michael Cardoza told the court that his client did not want probation and that he was ready to serve jail time. But Dr. Jan Adams, 54, won’t actually go to jail until Feb. 6th so he can deal with a probation violation in Los Angeles.
Sadly, Donda West’s death has still not been prosecuted. She died the day after receiving Los Angeles liposuction, breast reduction, and abdominoplasty – tummy tuck surgery – at the age of 58. The autopsy stated that the cause of her death stemmed from heart disease coupled with complications from the plastic surgery procedures.
This “Doctor” who calls himself the “Original Dr. Jan Adams,” claims he graduated from Harvard, but is not a board-certified plastic surgeon. After the tragic death of Donda West, several malpractice suits came to light. Turns out his certification in the state of California was revoked after failing to pay child support.
Situations like these just go to show, you cannot place enough stress on the importance of finding a qualified and experienced board-certified plastic surgeon. Los Angeles tummy tuck and liposuction procedures are considered major surgeries. Had Donda West gone to a board-certified plastic surgeon, her medical history of heart disease would have been taken seriously, and perhaps her tragic death could have been prevented. Not everyone is suitable for plastic surgery, especially in receiving multiple major surgeries such as abdominoplasty and large volume liposuction – removing more than 5 liters of fat in one sitting. It is important to go to a board-certified plastic surgeon because he or she must go through rigorous training and research in order to become accredited by such a highly recognized medical association.
Many surgeons –
even those who are not specialists – represent themselves as "cosmetic
surgeons." Yet, they may have taken merely a weekend course in a
procedure, rather than enduring the hour upon hour of challenges that
are required to become board-certified. In some states, even dentists
are lobbying for permission to perform plastic surgery. That is why the
importance of choosing a board-certified plastic surgeon simply cannot
be overstated. You can verify if your cosmetic or plastic surgeon is
board-certified by visiting http://www.plasticsurgery.org/.

Two of the most requested Beverly Hills plastic surgery procedures for patients who have recently undergone massive weight loss, are liposuction and tummy tuck procedures. Body contouring has come a long way in the past decade or two. After losing a large amount of weight, patients are often still uncomfortable with their body image. Though they have shed the pounds, excess skin and contour deformities can, and often do occur. Body contouring procedures such as Los Angeles liposuction and tummy tuck surgery are aimed at creating shapely curves and tight bodies for those who have achieved their optimal weight.
Fat removal using Los Angeles and Beverly Hills liposuction, also called lipoplasty, continues to be the most commonly performed aesthetic (cosmetic) surgical procedure, with the number of liposuctions performed in the U.S. up 117% since 1997, according to 2003 statistics from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Plastic surgeons can target very precise and specific areas to reduce the excess fatty deposits in areas like the hips, thighs, buttocks, and abdomen area. Body contouring with liposuction is almost an art form. Skilled plastic surgeons can use liposuction not just to remove excess fat, but to do so in a way that gives the most aesthetically pleasing results.
With body contouring through Los Angeles and Beverly Hills tummy tuck surgery, also known as abdominoplasty, is also a highly requested surgery for post massive weight loss patients. As the skin is stretched as with weight gain, over time the skin loses its elasticity. Therefore, it is harder for the skin to go back to its original place after massive weight loss. This can cause excess sagging hanging skin around areas which have lost large volumes of underlying fat and tissues. Los Angeles tummy tuck surgery removes the excess skin around the abdominal area, and tightens the underlying abdominal muscles, giving a tight flat tummy. This same technique can be used on other areas of the body, as in with a body lift, arm tuck, thigh lift, neck lift, etc.
The safety of body contouring procedures such as tummy tuck and liposuction is well documented, but there are always certain risks as with any type of surgery. Not all patients are good candidates for these types of procedures. It is up to the surgeon to discuss all the safety risks and medical history of the patient. Liposuction and tummy tuck surgery may be performed safely with proper patient selection, appropriate surgical judgment, and careful patient monitoring during and after surgery.
According to 2003 ASAPS Statistics on Cosmetic Surgery, there were significant percentage increases from 2002 in several body contouring procedures often used to treat patients with major weight loss: abdominoplasty (increased by 42 percent to 117,693 procedures); lower body lift (increased by 127 percent to 10,964 procedures); thigh lift (increased by 109 percent to 8,806 procedures); and upper arm lift (increased by 68 percent to 10,595 procedures).
