Newport Beach breast lift is most often necessary in patients who have gone through childbearing, and in particular have breast feed their babies. In respect to breast cancer screening and mammograms, implants placed behind the muscle do not interfere with the screening exam. The mammogram technician needs to be informed that you have breast implants in place and they will perform a maneuver to displace the implant to allow visualization of the breast tissue. This technique is called Eklund’s maneuver.
